"Masihkah kau di sana?" tanyaku suatu hari, saat usia mampir sekali lagi ke dalam catatan pengingat.
Tidakkah kau ingin pulang, ke tempat kisah cinta selalu kubacakan--roman-roman picisan. Jangan terus berlari bersama kelinci yang selalu merasa terlambat itu. Kau tak tahu dia terlambat untuk apa, bukan?
Lagi pula, tidakkah negeri itu terlalu ajaib? Atau tidakkah negeri itu terlalu menyeramkan. Di sana, jejak, jalan, dan persimpangan bukanlah milikmu. "Milikku," kata sang Ratu.
Duduklah bersamaku di sini. Menikmati teh sore. Aku memang belum menyelesaikan satu kisah cinta lagi--cinta tak terlalu picisan, sekarang. Terlalu sulit untuk diselesaikan. Namun, di sore ini, aku tidak ingin berbincang tentang itu.
"Kapan kau jatuh cinta lagi?", akan kubuka percakapan sore dengannya.
Teh sore tampak tak menguap lagi. "Kapan kau akan datang?"
